Estupendo debut en el mundo de los libros, para esa novel escritora. Una historia fuerte, diferente, pero que seguramente atrapar� a los amantes del g�nero. Con un relato exquisito y �gil, Vero nos sumerge en el mundo de Ana y nos permite ir descubriendo su mundo interior.

Al principio es facil creer que este es un libro basado en BDSM y sexo mucho sexo, pero no es asi, tiene un trasfondo psicologico que lo hace muy pero que muy interesante.
Aqui tenemos a Ana una escritora ya en la cuarentena, con un hijo adolescente, me ha encantado el personaje de Ana, su forma de hablar tan clara, llana y divertida, eso ha hecho que el libro sea de facil lectura y muy divertido.
Cuando Ana conoce a Hernan se despierta en ella unos deseos de tener una relacion poco convecional, donde solo haya sexo, y sea ella la que tenga el control, la que domine y la que disfrute como nunca lo ha hecho en sus relaciones anteriores.
El personaje de Hernan me ha sorprendido, al principo crees una cosa y despues ves que es otra, es un personaje con un gran transfondo, no es lo que pinta al principo, lo que le da un giro al libro super interesante.
Tambien tenemos a Martin, primo de Hernan, un personaje que me enamorado con su vitalidad y su personalidad y que tambien despierta cositas en Ana, ya les dejo de tarea averiguar cuales.
En conclusion el libro me ha ENCANTADO, lo devore, no pude parar de leer, las escenas de sexo estan bien detalladas, y no son abrumadoras, solo hay las necesarias.
Se los recomiendo 100%.

Ufff! qu� les puedo decir! Con esta novela Ver�nica nos demuestra su incre�ble nivel de narraci�n, ya que nos lleva a viajar el interior de Ana In�s de una forma clara y sin tapujos, logrando que entendamos a la perfecci�n a la protagonista e incluso nos sintamos identificada con ella, adem�s, el giro que le da a la historia es excelente! eso es algo que me gusta mucho porque no es una novela er�tica convencional… no… tiene m�s elementos que la convierten en una historia llena de pasi�n, psicolog�a y misterio, dejando a un lado el tema del “amor” como todos lo conocemos.

Una novela que, en definitiva, nos muestra como a veces, cumplir nuestras fantas�as o deseos m�s profundos, pueden tener el poder de llevarnos al S�ptimo Cielo… aunque honestamente, creo que lo mejor de lo mejor suceder� cuando lleguemos al Quinto Infierno... que por cierto, es el segundo libro de la bilog�a.

�Qu� suceder�? NO LO S�! pero espero que Ver�nica logre su meta de llegar a las 200 ventas de este primer libro para que publique la segunda parte, as� que �A COMPRAR! �Necesito saber en que terminar� esta historia!

I still gave him this book to help in becoming a better and more educated person

My coworker told me about this book. You see, I have two brother in laws who curses all the time. I also have a brother who does also curses. I truly believe that people who feel a need to express themselves using curse words is uneducated and have no respect for he or herself or the person they are talking with. I gave this to one of my brother-in-laws for Father's Day. Although, I believe he finally realized how he sounds when using those words because he has made remarkable changes in his vocabulary, I still gave him this book to help in becoming a better and more educated person. Taming Your Tongue not only speaks about cursing, but also about complaining, gossiping, and other things we need to take note of when speaking. I bought four of these because I plan to give to my other brother-in-law for his birthday and my brother for his birthday. I also want to keep one for me. It never hurts to educate ourselves. You won't go wrong with purchasing this book and giving it to someone who feels a need to curse, complain, or talk about others.

I love this book, it is an easy read and was delivered promptly! This book gives practical explanations and examples of some very basic principles that we often times overlook. It displays many perspectives of what to say and what not to say.......all food for thought. I found that it has helped me to become a better listener. This not only helps others to open up more - but makes them feel better knowing that they have been heard. It encourages you to become less selfish and more open to the thoughts and ideas of others. This ultimately leads to having more consideration and patience - encouraging better relationships and people skills. Understanding others is key to building trust and genuine friendship(s). This book is good as a daily devotion and/or affirmations. It also helps with the development of self discipline as it relates to words - which are so easy to dish out, but almost impossible to take back! There is truly power and an art to "Taming your Tongue!"

So far good but....

So far this book is good but I did have an issue with the whole 'complimenting people being deceitful'. I just don't agree with that. Yes there are people who compliment others because they want something and that is wrong, however, the bible does say we are to lift each other up. Not all complimenting is bad. I compliment my son for doing a good job with his alphabaet. If my friend is dressed nice for her interview I will compliment her. I don't think all complimenting is bad. Maybe the author was a bit vague in this area.

Other than that the book is a good read so far.

The book begins with an account of Aquinas's life and works. The next section contains a series of essays that set Aquinas in his intellectual context. They focus on the philosophical sources that are likely to have influenced his thinking, the most prominent of which were certain Greek philosophers (chiefly Aristotle), Latin Christian writers (such as Augustine), and Jewish and Islamic authors (such as Maimonides and Avicenna). The subsequent sections of the book address topics that Aquinas himself discussed. These include metaphysics, the existence and nature of God, ethics and action theory, epistemology, philosophy of mind and human nature, the nature of language, and an array of theological topics, including Trinity, Incarnation, sacraments, resurrection, and the problem of evil, among others. These sections include more than thirty contributions on topics central to Aquinas's own worldview. The final sections of the volume address the development of Aquinas's thought and its historical influence.

Any attempt to present the views of a philosopher in an earlier historical period that is meant to foster reflection on that thinker's views needs to be both historically faithful and also philosophically engaged. The present book combines both exposition and evaluation insofar as its contributors have space to engage in both. This Handbook is therefore meant to be useful to someone wanting to learn about Aquinas's philosophy and theology while also looking for help in philosophical interaction with it.

A Must Read For Those Seeking Greater Results On All Levels
